Chevron Internship Program Nigeria 2025 – How to Apply

Applications for the 2025 Chevron Internship Program is currently ongoing. CNL’s internship initiative is a part of Chevron’s commitment to corporate social responsibility (CSR) and supporting the Student Industrial Work Experience Scheme.

The Chevron Internship Program Nigeria 2025, provides excellent learning opportunities for students in Nigeria pursuing their undergraduate, graduate and post-graduate degrees.  It is designed to help students build and exercise technical knowledge, learn new skills and contribute effectively in not just a professional environment but the society at large.

As an Intern of the Chevron Internship Program, you will work on varied assignments in line with your discipline and/or research work. You will be working with a supervisor who will assign day to day tasks and oversee your growth and professional development.

Application Deadline: 12th December, 2024, at 11:59 p.m.

This program offers valuable industry and functional insights through hands-on experience, mentorship, learning from professionals at Chevron and other curated opportunities.

The program provides students the skills and foundational experience they need to begin building a career in their chosen field. It also offers a variety of professional experiences within a structure that provides opportunities to learn, grow, and ultimately succeed.

Undergraduate Eligibility

  • The program is open only to Nigerian students studying in-country or overseas. 
  • Candidates must be currently enrolled in an academic program leading to a graduate degree. This could be a Bachelor’s degree, National Diploma and/or Higher National Diploma.
  • Industry experience must be a requirement to complete your program.

Undergraduate Students Requirements

  • Prospective candidates will be required to obtain a recommendation letter from their institutions which must be submitted with the internship application.
  • The internship has a minimum duration of 3 months with a maximum of 12 months as applicable.
  • All applications must be submitted online through the application portal. 
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • All applicants will go through a shortlisting process which will include aptitude tests. Selections will be strictly based on candidates performances and available space.

Postgraduate Eligibility

The Chevron Internship Program is not only open to Nigerian students studying in-country but those studying overseas as well. Candidates must be currently enrolled in an academic program leading to a postgraduate professional degree, Master’s degree or Doctorate degree. Research and/or Industry experience is a requirement to complete your program.

Postgraduate Student Requirements

  • Prospective candidates will be required to obtain a recommendation letter from their institutions which must be submitted with the internship application.
  • The program has a minimum duration of 6 months with a maximum of 12 months for Master’s degree, and 24 months for Doctorate degree
  • All applications must be submitted online through the application portal. 
  • Include research areas and/or areas of interest.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • All applicants will go through a shortlisting process which will include aptitude tests and/or interviews. Selections will be strictly based on candidates performances and available space.
